How does provisioning work?

UPT Hosting is proud to offer near instant provisioning of your hosting product. Provisioning can take up to 10 minutes, but is almost always done in under 2 minutes.undefinednbsp;

Note: Provisioning of your hosting instance will not begin until the full payment is received.

Do you run your own servers?

Currently, UPT Hosting uses a mixture of our own servers and rented servers. Our own servers are operated in ourundefinednbsp; very small private US based data center. However, due to our currently small size, some of our servers are rented from a provider.

Rented servers do provide some benefits, including better latency and capabilities, but our goal is to operate all our own servers.

All UPT Hosting rented servers are provided by Contabo. Contabo is a dedicated server company with 20+ years in experience, bringing top level security and reliability. We utilize Contabo because they own and operate all their servers in their own data centers, so we can count on their reliability. Is support 24/7?

While UPT Hosting aims to provide support at all times, we cannot guarantee 24/7 support availability at this time. Due to our small company size, our support team is quite small.undefinednbsp;

Rest assured, our support team works to provide support when you need it, taking time out of our days for you.

Due to the above, our support also does not have set hours, however our support team is US based and bound by US time zones.

Do all shared hosting instances come with WordPress?

All shared hosting instances come with WordPress with one exception, our basic hosting package. This is because this plan is designed to be a cost effective bare-bones options for people who just want to run basic light weight websites that use HTML files.

Since WordPress is included in our shared hosting by default, it's not enabled at first when you log into your dashboard. This is to allow those who opt not to use WordPress to not waste the disk space on its files. See this article in our knowledge base for how to install it.

What payment methods do you accept?

UPT Hosting accepts most credit and debit cards for purchases on our platform. Our platform utilizes the PayPal payment processing system for easy integration weather paying with PayPal or just a regular debit or credit card.
